Grrrr
Friday, June 30, 2006
Man... everytime I sit in front of this computer my mind goes blank. I cannot type, I cannot think of what to write. Maybe I just need not to force myself to write an entry everyday. No one reads this anyway... Anyway, this is one of the things that makes me go grrrr, not being able to write entries or just go blank when I am going to start writing it. What else makes me go grrr? Well before I tell you I am gonna tell you what I mean by grrr. Grrr is a term I use to express that I am disappointed or mad but not really mad. So what else makes me say grr? ahehe...
Well... work makes me go grr haha. Its a fun job but its really tiring. Standing up for hours not doing anything. Its a really good job but when it gets boring you will wish that you have another one, but I guess that depends on the individual. Some people gets me mad too, you know who you are. I don't want to point and name people out. I do get mad but just a bit of sleep or give me food... I'm okay after a while. I actually am a good pet hahaha...
My life sometimes gets me mad but well not get into that. Who's life doesn't get them mad right? Anyway, moving on... School... need I say more? I know sometimes it gets you mad too. Homework, activities, test and quizzes but that's okay its for your own good. Well I don't know what else. My entry sucks and that makes me disappointed... I'm going to bed.

Living Together
Thursday, June 29, 2006
Living with people you don't know is exciting but as soon as you get to know them they kind of get annoying after a while. Well how about living with your family for a long time can get you frustrated too.
Last night I had a dream where I was in this house and the setting was dark... you were living with other people, kinda like Big Brother house. The dream was kinda hazy and I didn't really know what I was doing inside the house. I was with two other people and we were running from something or someone. Then we got inside the house. I thought to myself, "Thank you were safe!". The next thing I know I was laying down on the floor and there is this dude shooting someone with a machine gun. He never stops even though the person was dead. I couldn't really see the person because I didn't want to get up and get shot.
After all that, I quickly ran upstairs and laid down on the couch. I said "I hope I don't get evicted or eliminated next". I believe that the way you get eliminated in the house is by dying. What a good way to be eliminated eh? Then I saw this girl running away from someone and she was hiding. It was like they were playing tag inside the house. I pretended to sleep on the couch and watched the activities that is happening. The girl and the guy were running around like cat and mouse. The girl went to the corner and was tring to open a trap door to escape. I saw the guy and signalled him "over there". I did that I guess because I want to be his ally. Then when the guy was going to kill her, I quicky stood up and ran outside to the balcony fire escape. After that I woke up.
It is hard to please everyone you live with or even the other people around you. You will do something because you think its gonna be liked by others but actually it is the opposite. You cannot please everyone and not everyone will like you. Its like when you dislike someone for no reason or someone dislike you for no reason. You cannot force the other person to like you or you to like them.
I tried to cook rice today with a regular cooking pot and not with the rice cooker. My mom used the rice cooker to cook some desert, sticky rice. I thought I should cook rice but not in the rice cooker because she used that for something else. I found it very hard to cook rice without using a rice cooker. Then when it was cooked and called everyone to eat. My mom told me, "Why I used a cooking pot instead of the rice cooker?". I said, "because I thought you might get mad if I cooked it there." I really do not know what to do. I thought one way or another she'll get mad and I chose to do the more difficult thing, cooking the rice without the rice cooker. I know its a stupid thing to argue about but it happens. Sometimes even the smallest thing can set off someone.
Well anyway, I guess all I am trying to say is that living together with people can get you to be annoyed at each other but that does not mean you are enemies and by the end you will still have each other.

Work Mode
Wednesday, June 28, 2006
This week is a very busy week for me and maybe next week as well, because yes you heard right! or should I say read... WORK! There's no hockey but there is lacrosse. My other work mates have been working, well only two, for the past months. And the others are just reserves, I mean on call. Since Sarah *ahihi* is going to camp to be a leader (I didn't go because I think my mom won't let me and Sarah might rape me ahaha jowk). I am working her shifts.
Today I am going to a training course for something. I am not entirely sure what it is. Its good that I asked my supervisor before where it was going to be held because it didn't really say on the sheet of paper mailed to me. Its good that I know some people I know will be coming too. Meagan wasn't sure where it is going to be held so she called me. And yes people if you were wondering I work mostly with girls *ahihi* except they hired another dude but he's cool. I kinda don't like him a bit though just a bit, because of what I said before on my previous entry. The jokes there at work can be personal sometimes but not too personal.
I am going there today at 3pm untill 5pm. I'll update this later, so just wait for it. Because you never know what kind of course it is that they're going to teach.
HERE
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
It was raining really hard and I asked my mom to drop me off to work. We went and they stayed in the library to borrow movies. I was only suppose to stay for two hours but I stayed for three. Why you might ask? I stayed because I ate 4 slices of pizza and it was kinda rude of me to just get the pizza then leave. We mostly just discussed or actually just listened to them talk about Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS), evacutation stuff and alerts etc. I went home and did'nt stay for the fourth class... that's all that happened I guess, nothing exciting.

Sleepless night
Tuesday, June 27, 2006
There are nights I couldn't sleep. For some reason the sleep fairy didn't visit me last night. Or maybe she didn't find me because I was not in my regular sleeping place. Maybe she saw me but forgotten to sprinkle her sleeping dust. I was tossing and turning in the couch where I decided to sleep for the night. It was almost around 3 am. I decided to turn the AC up to make me more comfortable and have a chilly sleep. Its more fun and relaxing to sleep when it is a little colder. It still didn't work. I went online and a fellow blogger pmed me. I didn't even know how he knew that I was there because as soon as I sat down in front of my PC he pmed me. I remember reading his "how to sleep" entry in his blog. He suggested me some stuff in order for me to sleep. After five minutes of talking I decided that I am just going to go to my room and sleep properly on my bed instead of sleeping in the couch. I went inside and thought why couldn't I sleep. I then realized that this bugger is not letting me sleep. He keeps stinging me and that kept me awake that night. I rarely get visits from this fellow and sometimes when he does come he doesn't sting that much. It was a pimple and it was in my upper mouth just below the nose. I have never been kept awake by a simple thing before but this time I couldn't sleep just because of that. Why did it just pop up out of the blue? Is it because of stress? Why does it always appear randomly out of nowhere? I'm not in-love or have a crush on someone or something... I didn't eat anything that greasy... Why did I broke out? If you can call a single pimple a break out... I thought to myself it will go away. Get a grip and do not worry about it and stop touching it! haha... Why are you making this simple thing a problem and that its making you not able to sleep?... I couldn't get an answer and then after a couple of minutes I fell asleep...
P.S. I dunno what I was thinking so I decided to post this and fluff it up a little. Hehehe...

Trip
Saturday, June 24, 2006
Travelling is one of the things i like to do and maybe yours too. I can say that I have been to many places but some of them I can't remember. Because I was too young to remember or maybe I was knocked down or something. Most of us had some kind of trip in our life even if its just to the next city. We sit there in the car patiently waiting to get to our destination. Have stop overs for "weewee" break or grab something to eat. Every moment of any trip is fun and exciting and it will surely leave a mark in our thoughts.
I haven't been around the Philippines much. All I can remember was the trips we had when I was young. I really miss the Philippines and I would like to go back there as soon as possible. I remember going to Baguio riding horses and they bought me this weird ugly sweater there in Baguio. I guess that's about it, that's all I can remember from there.
Then to the One hundred islands in Pangasinan. We rode on a boat headed to one of the islands. I think I saw monkeys at the island we went to and also I think people uses the jungle area in the island to do their business. Anyway, we swam in the ocean and my lola won't let me swin far away because she is scared that I might drown. When were about to leave I fell asleep on the boat and I don't know why I am sleeping on a wooden bench thing. Its really hard to remember things when you were a kid. You can't remember it in detail and everything gets mixed up and screws up your memory. One memory overlaps the other. Oh and when I got back and they washed my pants theres sand inside it hahaha... yea...
Well anyway... the next one I remember was a trip to Abra del Norte (I think... It's somewhere up north). I remember seeing the mountains and they tell me that it looks like a lady sleeping (Sleeping beauty) or maybe that's Mt. Makiling in Laguna... I can't really remember haha... too much trauma in the head I guess. I remember swimming in the pool that was just made by blocks. It doesn't look like the real pools, its just some blocks cemented together to make a pool. Ghetto version I guess. I keep on scratching my abs and chest because it wasn't deep and the bottom is just plain cement. Weird...
Another place I remember going is to a church somewhere. The roads goes up and down and people sell kasoy. We went there to just go to mass. I am not really sure why we went that far to just go to mass. We brought food for everybody and when we were handing them out to everyone, some people thought we were just handing them out for free to anyone. It was quite funny and embarassing. There were a lot of people there at that church and I think the mass went for a couple of hours?...
Well that's all I can remember from my trips down there in the Philippines. I want to add and visit more places there. I really don't know any place there anymore because I left there when I was young. Hopefully I can go back there soon and go to Palawan ahehehe... Yea that's all for now its pretty late and I'm going to bed.

Stop, Rewind and Fast Forward
Wednesday, June 21, 2006
Do you ever wish you could stop, rewind or fastforward somewhere in your life. However you find yourself stuck there and just hoping that it will happen. Many things in life makes you want to either stop, rewind or fast forward it. What would you want to get if you can only choose one from the three of them?
There a points in my life where I just wanted to experience that situation over and over and over. Getting into honour roll, getting a job, receiving your first paycheck, getting into college or getting your first car are some of the experiences you might want to stop and bask in the glory of it. For me I guess I just want to stop at a point in my life where I felt care free about the world. Who doesn't want to stay young and just play on the street.
Most of us want to rewind a part of our lives and do everything all over again. All the bad events that happened will rewind back. Hoping that this time you can correct it and do the right thing. Maybe you can rewind back to remember the loved ones that had passed away or to re-live the fun memories of the past. I am guessing that rewinding back in time will be the most popular one and everyone would pick that. You can totally change oyur future, hopefully for the better.
Fast forwarding... why would you want to fast forward you might ask? Well, Do you ever have those times that you are waiting and waiting for something, lets say exam results, and the day doesn't seem to be coming nearer then fast forwarding can be useful (hehe, I feel like I'm selling something). I always hate to wait when we are going somewhere and the drive takes so long. However I think fast forwarding your life will suck because youre gonna miss some minutes of your life. Who would want to get old fast?
Our life can be very comlicating and be very stressful. Even if you can achive one of this things... Stop, Rewind, or Fast Forward... it can never leave you satisfied with the result because someone or something can change if you edit your life. I guess it is better to leave your life as it is and have faith in God that he will guide you to the right directions. Just look at the movies Butterfly Effect and the most recent one Click. Crazzzy...

Addiction
Monday, June 19, 2006
People get addicted to many stuff in this world. To drugs, cigarrettes, caffeine, games and many more.
Neopets
I didn't really get addicted to neopets when I was younger but this was the first site I played at. I mostly collected cards their and managed the guild. Collecting the cards was my main focus their.
Gunbound
I played this game for some months. It was a good game and I enjoyed it. Playing this game with my classmates online was fun. I always use that laser ship, the gold one. I forgot what its called.
Maple Story
This game took my life, literally. I had my ups and downs in this game. I did not focus much on school because I was playing. Not much homework was done and I played mostly on my spare time. I really took a toll on me but when I lost the internet for more than six months I stopped playing it. Thank God! I lost my addiction to it. When we got back out internet I played for a while but I found myself bored with it hehehe. Thank You God!
Blog
Blog blog blog... It can get addicting but once you run out of things to say... It all goes downhill from there. I have been blogging for about three months now. I found out about this "blogging thing" through a friend because he also has a blog. I'll let him remain anonymous haha... At the beggining It was great so much fun and I want to say so much crap. All this crap came out from my head because it was excited to spill it out. After three months of blogging I am starting to loose my interest because I am running out of things to blog. Maybe I am over thinking and not expressing myself well. Every time I get an idea, it all goes away when I am starting to write. I guess all bloggers feel this but that doesn't stop them and it will not stop me neither. I love blogging and will continue it however this addiction will not take a toll on me like the games. I can live without it at the same time still blog and not get bored. Its the perfect addiction hahaha...
Other things I did but was not addicted to
Gaia, Baking (haha I love baking. I am a master and I love making banana bread hahaha), RO, Diablo, Sims, Roller Coaster Tycoon.
HERE
THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!

Blog TAG 3
Friday, June 16, 2006
Wow hahaha I knew it... I knew that I was going to get tagged again sooner or later. This time Beverly got her revenge and tagged me. Its okay though I'll get her again next time Mwahahahahaha... kiddin... 0_- hehe...
Instructions:
Name ten(10) of life's simple pleasures that you like the most, then pick ten(10) people to do the same. Try to be original and creative and not to use things that someone else has already used.
1. Eating ~ I eat and eat and eat. I can eat almost anything... I said almost and as long as its edible. Sometimes I eat like there is no tomorrow. Hahahaha... but it has its consequences.
2. Computer/Internet ~ It keeps me entertained, so I don't get bored. Its a very useful thing. You can play games, talk to people, send pictures and emails, listen to music, watch videos and many many more.
3. Water ~ well its obvious... it can help you survive. Keeps you hydrated, gets you cleaned up, and its a good way to cool off when its hot.
4. Bed ~ Its where I sleep and without it I would be sleeping on the floor. But sleeping on the floor ain't that bad. It also a comfortable place to sleep if you don't know.
5. Job ~ Well... its easy and I get money from it. I basically just stand and wait for customer to buy something. I work at Concessions at a community centre.
6. Car ~ Its easier for us to go places. Before when we didn't have a car it was a pain taking the bus. Buses either is early or late, but its still useful.
7. Life ~ Ofcourse my life is a very valuable thing. And being alive is a gift from God which most people take for granted.
8. Phone ~ I can keep in contact with people and get in touch with them if I need to. I also like the camera in it, I always take picture of everything and anything.
9. Movies ~ I love watching movies. At home, other peoples house or at the theatre. I mostly like horror movies or azn movies like japanese(horror), korean(romance), chinese(action) and filipino(corny) hahahaha.
10. God, Family and Friends ~ The most important thing because they will always be there for you through thick and thin. They have your back when your down and they try and guide you to the right direction in life.
Some of them might sound crap but thats all I could think of for now. I am going to tag...

"Birds with the same feather flock together". Is this idiom really true? Do we really all tend to stick to the same race or orientation as ourselves. Err... why did I even choose this topic out of all the things in my head. To be honest I don't really know, the only thing I want to know is why isn't the Philippines in the Fifa World Cup. Hehehe... yea yea... I know filipino's are not big soccer players but why can't we start to be fans of it. I think that if the Philippines is in the World Cup, people back will err lets say "unite" to cheer on the country and forget about all the problems that are happening. It's true that the government can be corrupt and most people that works there are... however if we try to work honestly err I don't know I give up. Some people can really be bought because of the poverty. I guess all I'm trying to say is err work together for the better of the country? haha yea yun na lang...
Yea yea... I'm getting off topic. I wasn't suppose to be talking about soccer or the government. All I really wanted to say is that in multicultural countries like Canada, people often make friends with their own race, religion etc. etc. Its because you can relate to them more and you feel more at home with them. You can speak your language and express yourself more. My question to you is... would you marry some one from another race, religion or even some one with the same sex etc etc? Unlike other culture who has to go through arrange marriage... we filipino's are lucky enough to not have that. I think it is wrong to marry some one you don't love and that it is not right for the parents to choose your mate. Most filipino families would want their kids to marry someone who is a filipino. Even the kids think they should marry their own race. That thought gets passed down from generation to generation. However at these times I think some filipino's would rather marry someone from another race preferably some one from a rich country. Well thats just my opinion because if some one from Australia would want to marry me why not eh? LOL anyway... I guess its just the poverty taking a toll onto the people. They would sacrifice anything to get a better life especially the parents. They would do anything to make their kids life a bit better than their. And thats what I love about Filipinos.
P.S. Please tell me if my post is err getting off topic, or if it doesn't make any sense.

Stop the Hate!

+++++
This is an open letter email by Art Bell, a radio talk show host in Nevada(more info in the email itself). Here is yet another person who has taken; advantage of his power and privilege to use hateful words and racial stereotypes that breed further ignorance and intolerance in our society.
Art Bell is a talk radio host who has two shows that he broadcasts from his home in Nevada, that is rebroadcast by 400 stations across the country.
As we've all come to notice, in the past few decades, Filipinos have begun to infest the United States like some sort of disease. Their extensive involvement in the U.S. Armed Forces is proof of the trashy kind of qualities all filipinos tend to exhibit on a regular basis. You can see this clearly by studying the attitudes and cultural Icons of most Filipino Americans.
Origins of Pinoys/Pinays:
Are they really asian? Well we've come to accept the fact the filipinos come from a part of the world known as South East Asia. But the term "Asia" is used in the wrong way. You may notice that contemporary Filipino Americans try very hard to associate themselves with groups that we know as Asian. I cannot count the number of times I have seen a 'Third World' Filipino try to connect themselves to the chinese or Japanese people. There is no connection and here's why. The Philippines is a Third World country. Nothing respectable has EVER been created by Filipino people during our entire human history. Young filipino men in America have become obsessed with "import racing". They have an enormously perverted affection for Japanese cars. It's a common phenomenon. In their minds, these Filipinos somehow believe that they are asian and that it somehow connects them to Japanese people and japanese cars. They often take credit for the ingenuity of Japanese people and say how it's an " Asian thing". This term..."Asian thing" derived directly from African American slang "black thang". "It's a black thang." "It's an asian thang."
You can see the connection. It's even funnier that, in Japan, Filipinos are heavily discriminated against. The only filipinos that can live successfully in Japan are the filipino prostitutes. But that's the case for most Filipino people no matter where they live in the world. Now we've come down to this fact...and it is a fact.
Nothing in Filipino Culture can be seen as Asian.
They have no architectural, artistic, or cultural influence which is in ANY way, asian. Thinking of the great countries in Asia such as Japan, Korea, and China there is no way you can possibly connect the Philippine Islands. This assault by filipino americans to connect themselves with the great peoples of North East Asia is foul and disgusting. Try visiting a young filipino's web site too.
You'll see something called the "Asian IRC Ring". It has to do with the chatrooms. The most horrible thing about this is that these TRASHY people are trying to associate themselves with Asia again!! People in Asia don't act like this at all. What we are seeing here is the natural Filipino in its element with full access to technology and this is how they act! You will consistently see this behavior over and over again.
Another interesting thing is that these "third world" people also frequent IRC chatrooms such as #chinese #japan and #asian. They must believe that they are somehow related racially or culturally to North Asians. But it's completely WRONG! There might have been some distant contact With China and even less with Japan during World War II, but these people are actually more closely related to african americans and Mexican americans.
Do the parents of these young filipinos know what's going on? Would they accept this? I believe that they would and do. This is the natural "Trash" element in filipinos manifesting itself. Nothing good has ever come from Philippines and I don't believe anything good ever will.
Recognizing your Roots (A Message to Filipinos). To all filipino people:
Please recognize your ROOTS! You come from the Third World! Your country is a disgusting and filthy place. Most people there live in poverty! Your culture has MUCH MORE SPANISH influence than chinese, and absolutely no JAPANESE influence whatsoever. People in Japan and China, do not act like you. They do not constantly talk about sex and they have a MUCH HIGHER level of RESPECT for each other. There is NO WAY that you can connect yourself to Asia other than location.
Your culture and technological advancement does not even come CLOSE to what Chinese, people have done in the past and what Japanese and Korean people are doing now! Everything you do is distinctly filipino. You cannot take credit for Japanese cars, video games, or Hentai! It's not an "asian thing" it's an "American thing". You have no concept of culture...no concept of asian ideas or asian philosophy! Can you demonstrate how you use Confucianism or Taoism in you everyday life?? You can't. And you will NEVER be able to.
I understand that you are trying to create an identity for yourselves as young people... but it is NOT related to Asia. Your Identity is Filipino.
That's all you are. Just Filipino. Think about what that means....
Thank You to Benj for clearing this up!! Click Here

Blog TAG 2
Sunday, June 11, 2006
Tagged again?... well its alright because I don't have to think about what I am going to post for one day. It will give me more time to erm, think. I was tagged by Anjouli and Kevin. I just want to know... where are these blog tags coming from? Probably from someone who is nosy and wants to know stuff about someone and pretended it to be a blog tag. Anyway, here it goes.
Instruction:
The first player of this game starts with the "6 weird things/habits about yourself" and people who get tagged need to write a blog of their 6 weird habits/things, as well as state this rule clearly.. in the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names...
1. Lazy ~ Yes yes... Its a very known erm bad thing about me... If laziness hits me, its hard to get me out from it. Procrastination is a habit of mine, but I still get things done.
2. Forgetful ~ I forget things like names, birthdays, events and stuff. Well not everytime... sometimes. I would forget your name if I had to remember many names like when I move to a new school.
3. Perfectionist ~ I don't know why I always pick the harder task and try to be so perfect everytime. I come out of a task allright but always have this little disappointment in me. I think I am always hard on myself.
4. Binger ~ YEP! I don't know why but sometimes food is always what I think off. Its weird but I'm trying to stop eating/snacks. Hehe... Diet?
5. Addict ~ Yes I can get easily addicted to stuff... not that kind of stuff. Games and stuff. For example like right now my current addiction is on blogging. When I get bored I am going to look for another alternative. I hope it's studying T_T
6. Serious ~ Like I said in my profile... "Most people think I am always serious but to be honest I'm not... I joke around most of the time you just can't tell." I do joke around but when it come to making jokes on me sometimes I take it seriously.
Everything in me contradicts and I hate myself for all this stuff. I can name some more but no... I will just keep it to myself. Well... the things I'm gonna keep for myself is not that bad. I just don't want you guys to know. Anyway... TAG...

The biggest news we hear on TV nowadays is the war on terrorism. You might ask why am I doing this kind of entry or why am I even getting involved with all of these. Well... Let me tell you this, We all are involved in it because we live on this earth. Many lives are destroyed by terrorism even to the tiniest bit. Sometimes you don't even notice because it has been a part of your life.
I remember when I was back at the Philippines. Before the new year came, an explosion happened at the LRT. It was all over the news and it was very disturbing. You can't imagine that the LRT that you always ride to will get bombed. After that incident the security around the Philippines got more tighter. I know some stuff similar to this had happened in other parts of the Philippines and ofcourse throughout the world.
I did not know that something more horrible than that is going to happen when I moved here in Canada. The hi-jacking of airplanes and crashing them into World Trade Centre Twin Towers in New York City USA. It was broadcasted throughout the world and we sat there in front of out TV watching the horrible crash. Many peoples lives were lost and the security, not only in the United States but to every country in the world, were tightened even more. Then some other bombings happened in Spain and the United Kingdom.
It is really scary to see all these things happened but it would be more scary if it happened close to home. Since Canada is close to the United States we usually have news from the USA and its mostly about the war on terrorism. But this past days a different kind of news is on. Its on terrorist that were arrested in Canada, but they said that they are innocent until proven guilty. I don't know what really is going on because I don't watch the news much. However I read on the Mississauga News about the people who were arrested. Here are some articles. (If you have any other articles please share them. hehe)
A couple of days ago (June 6th) as I was going around Square One Mall, I didn't realize that there were something happening there. I didn't even know that the area was shut down. Maybe because the police and all of them did not want the shoppers to panic. There was a bomb scare and the guy (I think) was arrested. I am not totally sure about this but I heard from people that Square One is one of the targets. Its quite scary because we only live about 15 minutes walk from there. Hopefully all this things won't happen close to home.

A night to remember

Prom - A formal dance held for a high-school or college class typically at or near the end of the academic year. - dictionary.com
I have heard that my old school's prom is going to be today (I think). Prom night to me brings a lot of memory. My prom happened last year at the 13th of May. You might remember that May the 13th 2005 was a friday. Therefore it was friday the 13th. It started out as a regular day. I went to school even though most of my classmates are not going. They were busy preparing for prom. However some people still showed up, mostly guys. I guess because we don't have to prepare that much eh? At last school was done and I walked home. I was still trying to call a bunch of people to confirm and organize everyone.
I got prepared, took some pictures and went to one of my friends place because everyone is going to meet up there for the limo. We took some more pictures while waiting for the limo. The first bad luck I had that day was when I couldnt fix my tie. I guess you can't really call it bad luck because it is my fault not knowing how to tie a tie. After figuring out how to tie one, my friends father started to swat/hit my back. I was like "wtf?" He then said that I leaned on something and my back was dirty covered with some dust.
Finally the limo's arrived (we got 2, one for the girls and one for the guys). Then we got to the hall. We ate good food, danced and took some pictures. The night ended and people are starting to head to the hotel after party or other after party they had to go to. Three other guys and myself was dropped of at the hotel and the rest just went back to one of my friends house. Only two of us can get inside the hotel because our group had a room reserved. (Our class president didn't organize the hotel very well so some others ended up not having a room and couldn't get in. I tried to get the other two in but we had bad luck. Things happened. We ended up wasting our time there and headed home. I wasted my money to that hotel! I should have just given my spot, got my money and went to my friends house. They actually had a very good time at my friends house. I got home and noticed that I have lost the batteries from the digital camera that I had borrowed. Lost the other batteries I had borrowed. Lost my giftbag. Ripped a button out of my suit jacket. It was a very horrible day but I had fun. The prom was early in May (school ends at june) and it was friday the 13th. How lucky was I?

Rest In Peace?
Thursday, June 08, 2006
Life is full of challenges. It can be very unpredictable. Sometimes it surprise you, scare you, makes you feel happy and sometimes it makes you sad. It can lead you in many directions but you should take the wheel and drive yourself to the right directions. Today I went with some co-workers to a funeral. It was the funeral of one of the Operation Staff's Dad. At first I didn't know if I should come or not because I don't know him that much. However we usually talk and kid around. He is around his 20's and he is going out or maybe got married (I am not really sure) with one of my old co-worker. She quit after a couple of months when I started because she's got a new job and she's also around her 20's. It was an open casket which disturbed me a little. Also it was the first time I went to a funeral when I know what is happening around me. I have only been to funerals when I was younger.
I found out that he doesn't have anyone else when his Dad died. I also heard that his Mom died a couple of years ago. The death of his Dad left him with two younger brothers aged 10 and 15. Now he has to take care of them. I actually didn't know much about his life until now that his dad died. I have always thought he was this "one happy perfect dude that works with me". Some people are really good at hiding they're problems in life. He wasn't really close to his dad and I think he also got kicked out at home. Also I hear that the youngest brother was only a half brother. His mom did some fooling around. I am not sure what the main reason is but his dads death was a suicide. He hanged himself. I really send my deepest sympathy to him and his brothers. And I have more respect to my co-worker more than ever. May His Dad rest in Peace.

JackAstors
Wednesday, June 07, 2006

Wow I got a major headache hehe. Today I went to JackAstor's for dinner. People from where I work all went for dinner/meeting there. It was our year end get together. It was my first year working for the city and it was great. However I think if you let people get underneath you're skin at work, you're not going to survive in that place. Well, I think where ever you are if you let them get in you... you'll die and just want to leave. People can get annoying sometimes if you let them. I'm not saying people there are bad or anything, they're totally not. However some jokes can get pretty annoying.
Enough complaining... We got our appetizer hehe. It was Nachos chili and cheese, Lobster and crab dip with pita bread, and bresshutto? Well... I'm not sure what they're called but yea, you get the idea... they're food. I ordered Buffalo Chicken fingers with Ceasar salad and Iced tea. It was really good! And the best part of it is that I didn't have to pay. Is there anything better than a free dinner at a restaurant? LoL jowk! We talked, laughed and stuff like that... and they asked me if I am going to come back and I said "yea of course!" I'm still going to come back there! I think that meal was better than what I get from school yearbook year end get together. We just usually go to Mandarin and get eat all you can. But I guess it's good too because it's free hahaha. Talk about gluttony at Mandarins, some of us competes on who can eat the most food.LoL.
After that I headed home with two people but they were going to Square One first to get a prom dress. So I decided I should come and follow them around. It was kind of embarrassing going with them because meh I can't really explain it. I don't really want to get into all that stuff. Finally she got a prom dress and it was pretty if I might say so myself. I also found out that time that one of the Operation Staff's Dad had passed away and they are going tomorrow for the funeral. They asked me to come with them and I guess I will.
Then after all that we headed to Tim Horton's for coffee. It was kind of annoying because the stupid cashier who I think or know is Filipino is so dumb. I know I should be nicer to Filipino's here but well... they're still other people. I wouldn't treat them any higher than any other race here. I got to be fair and treat everyone the same. I asked for Honey Dip TIMBITS and I asked if they still have them. She said "yes". So I asked her again "how many does it come in a box?" She said "6 or 12 or 24". I said I'll get "12". Then I looked at the total and it says $5.95. I got kind of confused because why did the timbits cost that much? The other girl beside her asked me if I want to choose or make it just assorted and I noticed she was getting donuts. I immediately said "I don't want donuts, I wanted Honey Dip TIMBITS". The old lady cashier then said "You said you wanted donuts". I never said donuts dumb ass, I thought to myself but I just kept quiet. And cancelled the order and just got me a Medium Hot Chocolate and one Candy Sprinkled donut. She even asked me how many Sprinkled donuts I wanted. I said to myself, are you dumb? I can't eat half a dozen of donuts in one sitting. It was annoying. Hehe... yea anyway... there's more erm "scenes" like that, which happened in my life hehehe... Well, whose life doesn't have erm "scenes"? hehe...
And oh yea... HAPPY BIRHTDAY MARCO!!... hahaha... and I took that picture using my phone at JackAstors. Wrote my name on the table and we got the Elvis Presley booth!

Its that time of the year again!
Sunday, June 04, 2006
For me its still far but for many others back in the Philippines. It is that time of the year again! Pasukan na naman and you can't run away from it or stop the time and rewind the summer. Well malapet na rin summer dito! Two weeks from now or more, school will end here in the western part of the world. That means well... malapet na ako pumasok sa college! By September I would be going to Humber, but I'm a bit sad because High School is done. Well it has been done for quite some time now but I do miss some parts of it. High School is a big part of youre life whether you like it or not. During those years decides if you will be able to go to university. But in the long run its still youre choice if you want to go or not.
Its in the air... kids dreading the first day of school. Waking up early and putting that uniform once again. Making sure that you got everything you need for school in your back pack. These are the emotions that creeps up to those "back to school" kids... mapa grade school, high school or pati na ren yung ibang college and university.
Soon makikita ko na naman ang commercial ng Staples Business Depot kinakanta ang christmas song na "Its the most wonderful time of the year!". Maybe it feels like christmas shopping for him hehe.
Malapet na ren ang bakasyon! Summer na! Ang pinoproblema ko lang ay ang aking mga bayarin sa school at kung anu anong applications. Also I have no idea what to expect this coming year. College might be fun... I dont know yet. I have only been there when I took the test ans some other stuff. Basta whatever happens happens dba? Good Luck na lang sa aken hehe...
Eks dee... nahihirapan na ako mag blog ayaw na lumabas ng mga gusto kong masabe! hehe...
Also if you guys can support me at TALKSMART's Poll. Thank You hehe...

Life's Challenge
Friday, June 02, 2006
Different people... different problems. People go through difficulties in their life in some point or another. There are many stresses in life that one can encounter. Some are bigger than others. When I was younger, life was easy, fun and you always feel care free with everything. Sure theres also problems when you were a kid like, "Wala tayong chalk! Paano tayo mag pi-piko?", "Kulang kame sa players" or "Bakit ayaw nyo akong isale?". All those are big problems back then but now it all seems so small. I miss those days after school. You go out on the street and play with your kapitbahay. My Lola has an apartment houses beside our house but we lived in one of the apartment because theres not enough space in the house before (lahat pa sila ay nakatira sa bahay ni lola). We always played with the neighbour kids and also my second cousins who lived right across from us.
During those times I feel like we owned the street and played there. Our street is not a big street (sideways) but its long. I remembered a big fire broke out and the Fire truck had difficulty entering our street because people doubled parked. But luckily it didnt spread much. Only about three houses. Most people that lived on my street are "may-kaya", kaya ni rebuild nung may ari yung house nila as soon as they can.
Problems in life cannot be avoided. Now that I am growing up and becoming more aware of the world and my surroundings. Problems starts to eat me. I am not going to be all emo here so I'll skip all of them and not tell you my problems. Sure they do bother me sometime but I can handle it. Problems are a part of life. Without problems, you might take everything for granted. You might not be as close to God as you are now. You might not have faith in him because you dont have any problems in life. As we grow old we become more closer to him because you never know when your journey on earth is going to end.
I am going to cut this before I get all weird here and start preaching. We all know no one is perfect and I dont want to offend anyone here. And I always get out of topic everytime. LoL... palayo ng palayo ang post ko ata. Honestly I was going to blog about Online Games pero biglang napunta dito hehehe.

Random Vol.II
Thursday, June 01, 2006
I mentioned before, that we got a new DVD from the Sony Store up at Heartland Centre. Now... my sister and I have this trips going down to the library. We go down there to borrow books obviously and DVD/VHS. Our subscription to ABS-CBN website is over so we cant watch some of the shows back in the Phils. Last week I watched In America and it was about this Irish family migrating to America. It was a pretty interesting movie. I noticed that the Mom there was the Pre-Cog in the movie by Tom Cruise (Minority Report). She's a pretty good actress. Anyway... this week I saw Power of One and About a boy. Power of One talks about racism and all that. My Lola even liked watching it even if she didn't understand what they were talking about. Hehe... On the other hand About a boy was okay but a bit boring. I dont know why me and my sister have to get movies now because of that DVD hehe... basta okay ren naman, more bonding time? hehe. Minsan ren naman mangyare yun kase pag magkapated syempre may away den dba hehe.
While walking home from the library, I heard a scream. It was coming from one of the cars passing by. I got startled and quickly looked for who it was. I didn't know who it was and I didn't quite hear what they said. That kind of incident happened to me before. Some A-holes will yell out from their car, and it is so annoying. That happened when I was with my mom, Tiff and my sister in three different times of course. And the funny thing was when me and Tiff was walking we were talking about this same incident. Some people could be so damn stupid and annoying!
Before going to the library, we were shopping with my mom. We were looking for light fixtures. We found some but returned them again because of missing parts. We saw items made from banig. Tulad ng bayong. You know how much they are selling it at Walmart? $19.99 and some kind of napkin holder made from the same material. It was selling for $0.99 marked down to $0.49. Dang! I said... Ang mahal and if you do bring them here and go for business. Yaman mo na! haha... Then me and my sis got BubbleTease before heading to the library.
Teka maiba tayo. This past few days napapadalas ang confe namin nila Cars, Rina at Kevin. Puro kakulitan at kwentuhan. Conyohan daw at kantahan haha... malapet na pasukan nyo kevin and cars! wala lang hehe Eks Dee!
